Rajini kanth 'Rana' launch on April 20

Superstar Rajinikanth has decided to act in Raana movie that will be directed by KS Ravi Kumar. Rajinikanth will be playing triple role in Raana, as per the news sources. It will be co-produced by Eros International and Ocher studios. Rana is a trilingual and will be released simultaneously in Tamil, Telugu and Hindi.

Later, Rajinikanth along with the leading lady of  Raana Deepika Padukone will fly to UK for filming a duet song. Though Deepika was unable to take up the project initially she somehow managed to bag the project by adjusting her call sheet of other films. Now she is all excited about the Raana and also expressed that this is her long time dream to work with Rajini. Of course who doesn’t! Raana is a periodic film which brings Rajini in three different outlooks. Rajini will be sporting in a complete new look for Raana.

AR Rahman scores the music and Ratnavelu handles the camera for Raana. The technical and special effects director will be Soundarya Rajnikanth and Charles Darby of Eyeqube Studios. Editing will be done by Anthony and art director is Rajeevan. Raana  will be ready for release in 2012.
