Power Star Pawan Kalyan is back with ‘Cameraman Ganga tho Rambabu’ after scoring a massive hit this year in the form of ‘Gabbar Singh’. The movie has been directed by Puri Jagan and the film has released in a massive way across the world today.

First half of the film is alright. The second half is explosive. It’s a completely clean film from Puri Jagan. There are four best scenes in the film (1. Pawan Kalyan - Prakash Raj confrontation which waters down the entire movement 2. Philosophy of how men make ordinary women extraordinary 3. News room scene where Brahmi makes masala out of straight news items. 4. Pawan Kalyan’s call to people in the pre-climax episode) do stand out. Strengths of the film are Pawan Kalyan’s explosive performance and Puri Jagan’s superb characterization/dialogues. On the flip side, the holistic approach and strong villain characterization is missing in the film. There is enough fire power in the movie to make it commercially work. You may watch it for the Puri Jagan’s version of angry young man Pawan Kalyan.

But Lawrence could not sustain the momentum properly and there are way too many references from his previous projects. An excessively long second half will also work against the movie. For regular commercial cinema lovers, Rebel will be an ok watch.

The idea was latter dropped by Puri Jgannadh as he felt that the ideas wasn't interesting. Puri Jagannadh who is well known for naming his films with powerful titles, has changed his way and named this film after the 1973 hit film Devudu Chesina Manushulu starring NTR and Krishna. Filming begins March 2012 and the shoot will be completed in a single schedule.

Overall, the production team of UKUP can be applauded for putting up a good effort, but it could have easily been so much better.

Billa II is an upcoming Indian Tamil gangster-thriller film directed by Chakri Toleti. It is a prequel to the 2007 film Billa and would focus on how David, an ordinary man from the coastal regions of South Tamil Nadu, becomes Billa, a dreaded underworld don, with Ajith Kumar reprising the role of the titular character. Supporting roles are essayed by Parvathy Omanakuttan, Bruna Abdullah, Vidyut Jamwal and Sudhanshu Pandey, all of whom make their debut in Tamil cinema. The film's soundtrack and background score were composed by Yuvan Shankar Raja, while R. D. Rajasekhar handled the cinematography and Suresh Urs worked as the editor. Billa II was filmed with an RED EPIC Camera, becoming the first Indian production to be shot with it.

The film, produced by Wide Angle Creations in association with the Hinduja Group company IN Entertainment, was officially announced in November 2010, with Vishnuvardhan as the director. Due to conflicting dates, he was replaced by Chakri Toleti, while a new script was penned by a team involving Toleti and Eric Felberg. Filming, which commenced in July 2011 and was completed by December 2011, took place primarily at Goa, Hyderabad and Georgia. Billa II is scheduled to release worldwide on 13 July 2012; a dubbed Telugu version titled David Billa would be released simultaneously in Andhra Pradesh.

Senthil Kumar, who earlier worked for Magadheera, Yamadonga, etc. with Rajamouli is being roped in as cameraman for this movie. The unit is using a Scorpio Crane for the first time in the history of Telugu cinema. Sai Korrapati is producing the movie while Daggubati Suresh Babu is presenting it. Climax has been shot at Ramanaidu studios. Rajamouli has roped in Santhanam for the tamil version Completion of first schedule led producer to arrange a party. There were rumours that Kajal would perform an item number but Rajamouli denied it. Huge set was erected at Saradhi studios.
