Well-Known writer and director Vijayendra Prasad has filed a complaint on former MLA and producer Chengala Venkat Rao at State Human Rights commission (SHRC). Vijayendra Prasad has claimed that the Central Crime Station Police DCP Satyanarayana has threatened him and manhandled him in front of Venkat Rao and has forcibly taken the signatures on 2 cheques that worth 60 lakhs.
Vijayendra Prasad states that he had earlier written the stories for Samarasimha Reddy and another film to producer Venkat Rao, for which the latter was, suppose to pay him 63 Lakhs. Instead, Venkat Rao paid him only Rs 22 lakh. He further informed that the CCS Police has harassed and manhandled him by lodging false cases on him.
Responding to the complaint, the SHRC has ordered the Hyderabad Commissioner A.K.Khan to present a detailed report by 9th May on the allegations made by Vijayendra Prasad.
